Meet Mike, the founder and technical lead of Xorre, a seasoned expert in cloud hosting and AI with over a decade of experience under his belt. Mike is passionate about transforming complex technology into user-friendly solutions that can be utilized by anyone.
In recent years, Mike has honed his skills in the realm of artificial intelligence, specifically focusing on security and application development. His current endeavor involves harnessing these powerful AI tools to create an innovative and accessible civilian cloud, revolutionizing the way we interact with technology in our daily lives.

With a solid decade of experience in cloud hosting, Mike has demonstrated success at every level of the industry. His extensive expertise spans across physical hosting, Linux configuration, product design, Cloud WordPress, and AI.
Leveraging this diverse background, Mike is now channeling his insights and proficiency into the development of AI applications that cater to the demands of enterprise-level clients, ensuring cutting-edge solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
WordPress
Active and enthusiastic participant in the WordPress Project, including as a Core Contributor, Release Lead, Team Rep for the Global Marketing Team, WordCamp Organizer and Speaker, and local Meetup participant.
Now actively promotes WordPress as a solution to many AI problems related to presenting the information cleanly to your users. Why re-invent the wheel? WordPress is built to handle these challenges with integrated server management through WP-CLI.
Cloud Infrastructure
Mike brings a wealth of experience in Cloud Hosting, having spent a decade in the industry, including a role as Technical Project Manager for a major US hosting company. His expertise encompasses server management and provisioning, container management, and AI automation, ensuring a deep understanding of the complexities of the cloud hosting landscape.
DataCenter Security
This encompasses Data Center Security, safeguarding the physical Cloud infrastructure. Throughout this process, Mike has overseen numerous Data Center Security upgrades, service adjustments, and a successful migration between Data Centers. All tasks were accomplished in adherence to the applicable Data Center standards, ensuring optimal security and compliance.
Product Development
Mike has experience as the Product Manager for a Cloud service, specializing in the development of tools and themes designed to help small businesses create exceptional WordPress sites. This role involved gathering and incorporating user feedback and reviews to continually enhance the product offerings.
It was a great way to learn the struggles that many users experience. WordPress is a very powerful tool, and easier than most other tools, but there is still a very steep learning curve for many people. Mike is passionate about finding ways to use AI to close this technical gap and empower all users around the world.
Public Speaking and Community Events
Mike participates extensively in tech events around the United Stages, often as a speaker. He has participated in over 30 events, and has no plans to stop!
WordPress and Open Source Technology
WordCamp Speaker: Over 20 different WordCamp Events. Speaking topics include Clodu Security, Site Design, Project Management, and interactive user enagement. Example topic: Sites that Bounce, Animations in WordPress.
Global Marketing Team: Served proudly as a Team Rep for the Global Marketing Team, coordinating events and releases with a diverse and motivated team of volunteers from around the World. This includes leading Remote (Zoom) Meetings, In-person (WordCamps and Meet-ups), and Async project coordination.
Upcoming Events: Mike is an Organizer for WordCamp Virginia Beach, and looks forward to discussing the future of AI Development with WordPress.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
Offensive Machine Learning: This talk was given at the AI and ML Immersion Day hosted by MISI. The focus was on using procedural AI technology to disrupt the actions of State Aligned Cyber Extortion and Malware Groups.
Large Scale Sentiment Modification: This talk was given at AvengerCon VII as focused on how AI can be used to create Sentiment Modification campaigns that are much more complex than traditional methods. This talk focused on Open Source tools and technologys.
